Queen Anne’s Chorale Invites Singers and Supporters to Participate in its Fall Program

July 29, 2025 by The Spy Desk Leave a Comment

Now in its 36th year, the Queen Anne’s Chorale is actively preparing for its Fall semester and culminating holiday concert. Led by well-known Artistic Director, Robert Huntington, the Chorale is an all-volunteer, non-auditioned community chorus whose mission is to enhance the lives of Maryland Chesapeake Bay Area residents through a variety of quality choral music.

New singers should plan to attend the Open Rehearsal launching the new semester which will be held Monday September 8th at 6:30pm at Centreville Methodist Church located at 608 Church Hill Road. After the first rehearsal, a meet and greet Cookie Hour allow the newcomers to meet the fellow singers. The non-audition Chorale will begin working on its holiday concert (A Classic Christmas) scheduled for 3:00pm on Sunday, December 7th at the Todd Performing Arts Center at Chesapeake College.

Consistent with its motto “Entertaining, Engaging, Educating since 1989,” QAC is recognized for providing superb skills development in an atmosphere of camaraderie. While not required, the ability to read music is helpful. Interested singers seeking more information are encouraged to email Bob: [email protected].

For more information and additional opportunities to support QAC through donations or sponsorships visit www.qachorale.org.

Queen Anne’s Chorale is supported in part through grants from the United Way of Queen Anne’s County, the Queen Anne’s County Centre for the Arts, the Queen Anne’s County Council, and the Maryland State Arts Council, an agency dedicated to cultivating a vibrant cultural community where the arts thrive. QAC is fortunate to have The Ed Beres Group at REMAX Executive, Soistman Family Dentistry and Associates and Queenstown Bank as Presenting Sponsors. Corporate Sponsors include Shore United Bank, Mid-Atlantic Cat Hospital, Koons Toyota of Easton and Chesapeake Hearing Centers, Inc.
