The Queen Anne’s County Commissioners are actively seeking individuals to fill vacancies on several Boards and Commissions. The deadline for applications is February 29, 2024. The following boards and commissions have vacancies:
- Broadband Advisory Council
- Travel and Tourism Advisory Committee
The Broadband Advisory Council was formed to advise and provide recommendations to the County Commissioners on the provision of broadband services and infrastructure in Queen Anne’s County. Meetings are held the third Thursday of the month from 4:00 – 6:00 PM in Centreville.
The Travel and Tourism Advisory Committee was developed to represent specific industries to provide countywide leadership in policy development, management and competitiveness to ensure that Queen Anne’s County enjoys greater economic benefits from travel and tourism spending. This committee meets the second Tuesday of the month at 8:00 AM in Chester.
